Commission a Painting

Thank you for your interest in my work. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects but I specialize in people and pet portraits. When creating a custom portrait, my goal is not only to capture the likeness of the subject, but also their spirit and personality. I look forward to working with you!

Photo Selection

When selecting a photo for your custom painting, choose an image that feels true to the subject’s personality and captures the moment you want preserved. High-resolution images that are clear and well-lit work best, but you’re welcome to send multiple options if you’re unsure—I’m happy to help you choose the one that will translate beautifully into a finished piece of art.

Materials

I work with professional watercolors (Daniel Smith and QOR) on Ampersand Aquabord, a clay-coated archival panel which allows for rich color, fine detail, and a luminous finish. This surface is durable, professional-quality, and I seal each piece with fade-resistant varnish.

Payment Options

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission and begin the painting. The balance is due upon completion, prior to shipping. I accept both PayPal and Venmo. Since commissions are custom and created specifically for you, I cannot accept returns.

Turnaround Time & Delivery

The current turnaround time is approximately 4–5 weeks. You’ll receive the original painting, securely packaged for delivery.
